We are opening for 2024.

Date and times to be confirmed, but this will not be until approximately 2 weeks before the event. Based on the last 3 years, we expect to be open for a 10 day period at the end of April/beginning of May.

The best way to keep up with what's happening is to follow @thenorfolkhospice and @norfolk_tulips on Facebook and Instagram, all announcements will be made on these platforms.

The Event

What time are you open?

Most days we open at 10am and last entry is at 3.30pm. We ask that the Tulip field is vacated by 4.30pm.

This year we are offering three late evenings, where we will be open from 10am and last entry will be 7pm, We ask that the Tulip field is vacated by 8pm.

The field will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for essential field and crop maintenance. Please do not try to visit on these days.

Tickets

How much are tickets?

Adult tickets will be £7.50 each and children's tickets will be £5 each. Please note that there will also be a parking charge of £2 per car which will cover the cost incurred by The Norfolk Hospice to rent the land for car parking.

How many tickets can I book at once?

There is a maximum booking size of 10 tickets. Please get in touch for larger group bookings (20+) on 01485 601701 or email [emailprotected].

When will tickets be released?

The tickets will be released approximately two weeks prior to opening.

Can I change my day/time?

Unfortunately, we cannot change the day or time of your ticket due to capacity limitations. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Discount for carers? NHS Staff? Students? etc?

We do not offer any discounts.

Will I receive a physical ticket?

All tickets are distributed via email.

How many tickets will be available?

We have increased our capacity again this year and there will be approximately 25,000 tickets available.

Parking

Is there a car park?

There is a car park on site for our guests at the Tulip field, you can book this at the same time as booking your tickets. This is grass field not a tarmac car park, it is uneven and may be muddy or dusty depending on conditions. Cars are parked at owners risk. The car park is not suitable for large motor homes.

Is there electric car charging points? Where is the nearest one?

We will not have an electric car charging point at the Tulip field. The nearest charging stations are Sandringham Estate, The Ffolkes Arms and Knights Hill Hotel.

Food & Drink

What food is available?

There will be a selection of food and drink vendors, both sweet and savoury for you to enjoy.

Can we bring a picnic?

You can purchase food and drink at the event, from one of our numerous vendors. Picnics are not permitted in the car park due to health and safety.

Facilities

What toilet facilities will there be?

There will be portable toilets on site, and hand sanitiser available. Please note that there is no running water at the Tulip fields.

Location

Can we walk there?

Due to the location, it is not safe or possible to walk to the venue. We would suggest using a local taxi service.

Is there public transport?

Unfortunately, there is no public transport to the Tulip fields. We would suggest using a local taxi service.

Other

Can I bring a camera or drone?

You are very welcome to bring cameras, please be sure to use #TulipsforTapping2024 in any pictures you post on social media!

However, we regret to inform you that the use of drones is strictly forbidden on and around the Tulip field.

What footwear?

Please ensure you wear appropriate footwear due to the uneven terrain; it can also be muddy or dusty depending on the weather conditions.

Can I bring a dog?

Dogs and other animals are strictly forbidden on the fields, with the exception of assistance dogs.

Is the Tulip field wheelchair and/or pram friendly?

Wheelchair and pram use is discourage; due to the uneven terrain. We cannot guarantee the suitability of the field. It is uneven and can be muddy, wet and dusty depending on the weather conditions.
